Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Cleaning Checklist: Bubbles app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Ferhat Aksoy (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
Your cleaning data stays on your device. Rooms, tasks, schedules, and completion history are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to the Service Provider's servers.
The Application collects a limited amount of information to operate its online features:
- Anonymous account identifier. When you use the AI Scan feature, the Application signs you in anonymously using Firebase Authentication. This creates a random identifier that is not linked to your name, email address, or any other personal information. No email address or password is required or collected.
- AI Scan usage records. Each time you use the AI Scan feature, the Service Provider records metadata about the scan: your anonymous identifier, the selected room type, whether the photo could be analyzed, the number of suggestions generated (and, optionally, how many you kept), and a timestamp. The photo itself is never stored — see "Camera, Photos, and AI Processing" below.
- Crash and diagnostic data. If the Application crashes or encounters an error, technical information such as the device model, operating system version, app version, and a crash report is collected via Sentry to help fix bugs. This is configured to exclude personally identifiable information.
- Purchase information. If you subscribe to a premium plan, purchase and subscription status is processed via RevenueCat and Apple's App Store. The Service Provider does not receive your payment card details.
The Application does not collect your location, contacts, browsing history, or advertising identifiers, and does not use third-party advertising or marketing analytics.
Camera, Photos, and AI Processing
The AI Scan feature lets you photograph a room and receive suggested cleaning tasks. To do this, the Application asks for permission to use your device's camera and/or photo library. Access is used only when you actively take or choose a photo for a scan; the Application never scans your photo library in the background.
When you submit a photo for analysis:
- The photo is transmitted over an encrypted connection to the Service Provider's backend (Google Firebase Cloud Functions) and forwarded to Anthropic, a third-party artificial intelligence provider, whose Claude model analyzes the image and generates cleaning suggestions.
- The photo is processed only to generate your cleaning suggestions. The Service Provider does not store your photos on its servers — only the scan metadata described above is retained.
- Anthropic processes the image as a data processor in accordance with its own privacy policy and API terms (linked below).
You can use the core features of the Application without ever granting camera or photo access; the AI Scan feature is optional.
Third Party Access
The Application uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:
- Anthropic — AI analysis of photos submitted through the AI Scan feature
- Google Firebase — anonymous authentication (Firebase Authentication), storage of scan usage records (Cloud Firestore), backend processing (Cloud Functions), and app integrity verification (Firebase App Check)
- Sentry — crash reporting and error diagnostics
- RevenueCat — in-app purchase and subscription management
The Service Provider may disclose the information described above:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also revoke camera and photo library permissions at any time in your device's Settings; the AI Scan feature will simply be unavailable.
Data Retention Policy
Cleaning data stored locally on your device remains there until you delete it or uninstall the Application. Scan usage records and crash reports are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the service. If you'd like the Service Provider to delete data associated with your anonymous identifier, please contact them at ferhataksoy.dev@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (ferhataksoy.dev@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. All data transmitted between the Application and its backend services is encrypted in transit. Access to backend services is protected by authentication and app integrity checks, and photos submitted for AI analysis are not stored on the Service Provider's servers.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-07-28. It was last updated on 2026-07-28 to describe the AI Scan feature (camera/photo access and AI processing by Anthropic), Firebase services, and Sentry crash reporting.
Your Consent
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
